The Standard's Formula 1 event
Ya'll. The lights were on, the cars were exoctic (I me--an it was an event at Aston Martin), the people were beautiful, and the drinks were complimentary... But there were a few missed targets. There was no distinction between VIP and General Admin (Everyone had the same access and experience so those of us that paid for VIP did not get VIP). Parking: I have a DV plate and they would NOT park me in the handicap, instead they parked vehicles there illegally and argued me DOWN on why they would not park me someplace I was authorized to park. The event called for a unforgettable evening and in many positive ways it was. I would have loved to hear about their initiatives and collaborations that made the event possible but there sequence of events was missing, so I'd randomly hear people speaking, but no announcement was made to garner the attention of the attendees to connect the event to the initiatives. DO NOT get me started on the ladies rest room!!! Anyway, I did make one connection and took this cute pic. I would give it a 3/5 for effort, layout, and location.
