Individual Coaching

Coaching that tells you the truth.

1:1 life and leadership coaching for professionals navigating a real transition — promotion, pivot, burnout recovery, or the next chapter you can't quite see yet.

Who this is for

Real work for real leaders.

  • Emerging leaders stepping into their first people-manager role.
  • Mid-career professionals navigating a pivot, promotion, or plateau.
  • Executives leading through change, complexity, and public scrutiny.
  • Veterans and government-connected professionals translating experience into civilian leadership.

A note on scope

Coaching is not counseling.

Candidly Unsed provides life and leadership coaching. We do not provide mental-health counseling, diagnosis, medication, or therapy. If you're navigating clinical mental-health needs, we'll gladly refer you to a licensed provider — coaching can run alongside that care, not in place of it.

The Candid Method

Five moves. In order. On purpose.

  1. Step 01

    Diagnose

We name what's actually happening — separate story from data, ego from evidence.

  2. Step 02

    Decide

You choose what to move on this cycle. No 30-item lists. No fake priorities.

  3. Step 03

    Design

We build the practices, scripts, and support systems your decision needs to survive Monday.

  4. Step 04

    Do

You lead the work between sessions. I hold the mirror, the calendar, and the hard questions.

  5. Step 05

    Debrief

We review what shifted, what didn't, and what candor cost you — then reset.

Coaching FAQ

Candid answers, up front.

Not seeing your question? Book a free consultation and ask it directly.

How do I know if I'm ready for coaching?+

You have a decision, transition, or performance edge that matters — and you're willing to be honest about your part in it. That's it. You don't need a crisis.

How is this different from therapy?+

Coaching is forward-looking and performance-oriented, whereas therapy is designed to help you deal with (and heal from) unresolved trauma. If clinical mental-health support belongs in the picture, we'll refer — and coaching can run alongside therapy, never as a substitute.

Are sessions virtual or in-person?+

Virtual by default (secure video). In-person available in the DMV region on request.

Can my employer pay for this?+

Often, yes. We provide sponsor-ready proposals, engagement letters, and receipts for professional-development budgets and EAPs.

What's your cancellation policy?+

Reschedule up to 24 hours before your session at no cost. Inside 24 hours the session is billed — because your calendar is real and so is mine.
